The Grant County Prospectors are pleased to announce our annual Legislative Communication Forum.
The Prospectors created this Forum at the request of local Legislators for the purpose of creating an opportunity for you to have an open dialogue with them about community needs and projects. It is important for your organization to present and get your projects in the Grant County Needs and Project Notebook that Prospectors generate as a result of this Forum. Our legislators utilize this resource book throughout the Legislative session!
In the application packet is a series of topics/questions that were formed with input from our Legislators. The answers you provide will give them background information that they can utilize during the upcoming session.
Please be prepared to make your 8 minute presentation and to discuss the answers you provided on the topics/questions form. We have allotted 28 time slots for 15-minute presentation/question periods.
Important dates:
• Tuesday, November 6th – Capital Outlay Workshop, SWNM COG, 9 am.
• Thursday, November 15th – Application Deadline to reserve a presentation time slot in the Forum. Drop off at SWNM COG or send by email to kim@silvercityrealtors.org.
• Friday, November 30th – 8 am to 3 pm – Prospectors Legislative Communication Forum WNMU – Besse Global Resource Center Auditorium – 12th and Kentucky St, Silver City, NM
