2013 Legislative Communications Forum

GC-Prospectors_Forum-2013

Monday, December 9, Grant County Prospectors hosted their annual Legislative Communication Forum where Grant County sectors – government, education, non-profit organizations and Healthcare — presented their concerns and capital outlay requests to our area legislators. Pictured are Gila Regional CEO Brian Cunningham presenting to (left to right) Grant County Prospector President Kim Clark, Senator Howie Morales, Representative Rudy Martinez and Representative Dianne Hamilton. The forum results in a notebook for each legislator containing the presenters requests and concerns to be used during the upcoming NM State Legislature. From this Prospectors develop a list of Grant County Issue of Concerns to present at Grant County Day in Santa Fe on January 29, 2014.

The Grant County Prospectors are pleased to announce our annual Legislative Communication Forum.

The Prospectors created this Forum at the request of local Legislators for the purpose of creating an opportunity for you to have an open dialogue with them about community needs and projects. It is important for your organization to present and get your projects in the Grant County Needs and Project Notebook that Prospectors generate as a result of this Forum. Our legislators utilize this resource book throughout the Legislative session!
